I had a fantastic time leading a workshop on CQ for a group of talented and motivated leaders at the Taipei branch of Arrow Electronics.
'Effective Global Leadership: Cultural Intelligence in Intercultural Communication' was our topic and as usual, I really enjoyed our discussions as well as learned a great deal from the participants.
They were an engaged group that really caught onto the importance of applying CQ in intercultural communication, as they work in a global team with headquarters in the US and clients/coworkers in Japan, Turkey, and many more countries.

💡 As a side note, I'd like to comment on a development in L&D here in Taiwan:
In the past, I used to have to pitch the idea and value of intercultural communication skills in leadership and global teams (sometimes successfully, and sometimes not!). Now, clients are specifically requesting it.
😊 This is a fantastic trend to see and I hope that the number of trainers, consultants and coaches in this space continues to grow.
