Embracing open-ended questions for global collaboration success

bradleymichelle

It was my honor to share strategies on Beyond Borders: Mastering Team Leadership & Collaboration Across Cultures for a multinational semiconductor company recently.

In particular, we focused on how to use open-ended questions, as this skill is very valuable when collaborating with our international teammates so that we may be guided by genuine curiosity and empathy rather than assumptions and biased opinions.

As I progress in my development as facilitator of intercultural competence and cultural intelligence development, I tend to focus more on real-life scenarios and practical solutions rather than theory just for the sake of it.

In today's busy world, knowledge is helpful, but actually being able to implement it is critical.

As always, I am grateful for the sharing and questions from the participants (these webinars sometimes reach up to 800 people!), and I walk away from this webinar with new perspectives as well as the drive to continue my personal growth.

Would you like to incorporate more open-ended questions into your communication when bridging cultures? Contact me here to set up a Discovery Call on how you can develop this essential skill.
